Privacy policy

Your files stay yours.

Last updated: July 16, 2026

This policy explains what data JPG2SVG ("we", "us") handles when you use the converter at this site, and what we deliberately avoid collecting.

1. Images you convert

Images are used solely to perform the conversion you request. They are processed on the fly and discarded as soon as the conversion completes. We do not store, inspect, index, share, or train anything on your files. Converted SVGs exist only in your browser session until you download or clear them.

2. Account information

You can use the converter without an account. If you choose to sign in (which raises the batch limit from 5 to 20 images), we receive basic profile information from your sign-in provider - such as a user identifier and email address - which we use only to recognize your session and apply your plan limits. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.

3. Payment information

If you purchase a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details; we retain only what is needed to know which plan is active on your account.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and browser local storage to remember converter preferences such as your last-used mode and color count. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Technical logs

Like most web services, our infrastructure records standard technical logs (such as request timestamps, response codes, and coarse error information) to keep the service running and diagnose failures. These logs do not contain the contents of your images.

6. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to host the site, process sign-ins, and handle payments. Each receives only the data required to perform its function.

7. Data retention and deletion

Converted files are never retained. Account data is kept while your account is active; contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Children's privacy

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
