How it works
Add icons, exported UI graphics, or transparent logos — alpha channels are detected and carried through automatically.
Flat icons look crispest at 4 to 8 colors; illustrations with gradients keep their depth at 32 or more.
Check each SVG in the preview, then download individually or grab the full set as a ZIP for your icon library.
Turn a folder of PNG icons into SVGs for a scalable icon system.
Convert transparent PNG logos into vector files for retina-ready site headers.
Package UI illustrations as SVGs so they stay sharp at any zoom level.
Format guide
PNG is lossless and supports full transparency, which makes it the default export for icons and UI graphics. But it is still a raster format: a 24-pixel icon that looks perfect at 100% turns fuzzy on a retina display or when a design system scales it up. Teams end up exporting @2x and @3x copies of every asset just to keep edges clean.
An SVG replaces that whole stack with one file that renders sharply at every size and pixel density. This converter preserves your PNG's alpha channel, so transparent logos and icons keep their transparent backgrounds in the SVG output — something the JPG route can never offer.
Flat icons, badges, and simple illustrations convert best: their limited palettes map cleanly onto 4 to 8 colors for a crisp, graphic result. Screenshots and photo-heavy PNGs are better served by High density mode with a full 64-color palette so text and fine detail stay legible.
Feature
Everything you need to turn raster images into production-ready vector files — without uploads, sign-ups, or desktop software.
Images are processed on the fly and never stored. No account, no watermarks — your files are discarded as soon as the conversion completes.
Drop up to 20 images at once and convert them in a single click. Results land in one list with per-file preview, download, and delete.
Choose Simple for lightweight previews, Standard for balanced size and detail, or High density to keep the full original resolution.
Limit the palette from 4 up to 64 colors to balance file size against fidelity — ideal for icons, illustrations, and print assets.
Download any single SVG, or grab every converted file at once as a ZIP archive when you are working through a large batch.
Convert PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, ICO, and existing SVG files. Original dimensions are detected and preserved automatically.
The output is plain SVG markup that drops straight into websites, design tools, CMS platforms, and version control.
The converter is fully responsive and keyboard accessible, so it works just as well on a laptop, tablet, or phone.
Settings stay put between runs, failed files stay in the queue for retry, and finished results accumulate until you clear them.
FAQ
Yes. The alpha channel in your PNG is carried through to the generated SVG, so transparent icon and logo backgrounds stay transparent. This is one of the main advantages of starting from PNG rather than JPG.
